I was lead to Tarot gently and once I started working with it, I was hooked. I remember as a child, I was fascinated by every show on TV where a hero or heroine had some special abilities. I wanted to be just like them. Little did I know that I had talents of my own. From my personal experience, I have concluded that we are drawn to what we are good at and will excel at in life. Many of us, however, are taught to push this drive aside because “more important” things and skills are required of us to master so we can make a living. People around us, starting with our parents and relatives, ask us, “Do you make any money doing that?” It takes the wind out of our sails, doesn’t it? It makes us question that inner drive we feel inside. It makes us turn away from our inner guidance that’s trying to lead us towards meeting our highest potential.
On the other hand, do we make money doing the traditional and socially accepted jobs in the beginning? No. It takes a lot of time, study, dedication, and commitment to gain a proper training in order to perform a job. So, for example, if someone asks you if you make any money reading cards, you don’t have to answer it. Remember that many times people feel miserable in their jobs and don’t make hardly any money. They are in a lose-lose situation. You, on the other hand, will never be in a lose-lose situation. It’s always going to be a win-win for you. You are doing what you love and what is in harmony with your Higher Self (with your purpose). That, in itself, nurtures you and makes you enjoy your life. The nurturing aspect doesn’t have to be monetary, but it could be. And The Law Attraction is clear on this: If you love what you do, you will attract more positive things into your life. The abundance and prosperity are always results of following your Higher Self (your intuition). Perhaps, making a living by reading Tarot takes a little more time than doing a regular job, but that doesn’t mean we should completely discount it as non-realistic. Before the money starts coming in, we will already feel rich by following our inner guidance, pursuing our highest potential, and fulfilling our purpose in life. That in itself is quite satisfying.
We should always do what makes us happy and so, even if we do have to have a regular job, we should never push that inner drive into the background only to never revisit it again. We should keep the drive alive always no matter what the circumstances are. It’s very important we do so because we are drawn to go this way for a reason. One of the reasons is that the spirit world is trying to tell us we are capable of having it all: the regular job as well as working with our spiritual talents. Perhaps, we could use our inner guidance to help us reach our highest potential in our regular job. But, what if combining them isn’t possible? What if your job is something like answering the phone and making bookings all day? You may tell yourself, “There is no chance to use my spiritual talents here.” I say, that’s okay. What matters is that despite the reality of your life (your circumstances), you still don’t discount your spiritual aspirations. You do your best to learn about them and develop your spiritual talents whenever you can: after work or on the weekend.
You can find out which psychic talent is the strongest by mediation and practice. Then, you work with it as much as you can, whenever you have a chance. After a while, you will discover that you have more than one strong psychic talent. The intention to develop it and see where it can lead you is the most important element here.
I have always heard my inner voice telling me there was more to the world than what meets the eye. It was very uncommon for people to talk about the existence of ghosts or having psychic abilities at that time. The Internet wasn’t widely available as it is now. As a result, I didn’t have any point of reference to what I had been experiencing for many years. And so I didn’t talk about my experiences with anyone, but I was still hungry to learn about them as much as possible. I soaked up every glimpse of information I could get – mostly from TV. I didn’t discount my inner voice as useless or I didn’t tell myself, “What is it good for if I don’t make money doing it?” How many of you have done that? You haven’t worked on your spiritual talents for years because you believed the quote above? Don’t listen to nay-sayers. They don’t know you; moreover, they don’t want you to succeed.
The Internet is widely available now. It’s the best source of information in the world! Take advantage of it, use it. Find information about your spiritual gifts and learn how you can use them. Our psychic, intuitive, or other spiritual gifts are an integral part of us. We can make the world a better place if we know what they are and how to use them properly and effectively (and not be afraid of them). We can make our lives better as well. We will attract our dream results to us. We can be happy; we can become more self-aware. By being self-aware, I mean we will be able to sense in more detail what is happening around us, how people around us feel, or what is going to happen next. Consequently, we will be much more in-tune with our own reactions to what’s happening around us. We will be able to let go of emotional response; we will rise above it. We will become more tolerant and detached, and less drama oriented and impulsive. That, in return, will make us more resilient against negative energy and life will feel like it’s full of opportunities and happy coincidences.
